Kimi Djabaté‘s new album, “Kanamalu” (Red Orange Recordings, 2016) was one of the best world music albums of the last six months for the specialist music magazine Songlines.

“The guitarist, singer and percussionist from Guinea-Bissau tackles personal and political issues and topics on songs with musical flavours that are reminiscent of the griot tradition of Mali.” (Songlines)
